Snarling Wolf Tribal Design by InsaneRoman Snarling Wolf Tribal Design by InsaneRoman
Edit: Available for use HERE: [link]

Well, I was really bored, and complaining about being bored to :iconamurowolf:. She was also bored. We both had the same exact idea at the same exact time – to both try out the same concept and compare later. We settled on a headshot tribal design of an angry wolf with blood. So. Here is my part. When I get over how horrible it looks, I actually quite like it. :XD: Of course I’ll share her take on it when she’s done and has it posted. :nod:

For this one I did use the fill tool to make the blood a more solid red than my pencils were giving. :XD:

Please ignore the awful quality of my tribals, guys… they come out so smooth in real life, then I scan – crappy – and darken digitally – even crappier – and the overall effect is this… uneven… blah-ness. So, uh, look at it from a distance. What seems uneven here isn’t necessarily so in real life, it’s just my evil fill tool thing… If you guys have any tips to help with this, it would be greatly appreciated! ^^;

How do you get them so clean looking? Mine are all...fuzzy and scanner-butchered.

LOL I edit them in paint.NET and use the fill thing to make it black and white. As a result, it makes it cleaner, kinda, but also takes some of it away. ^^;

I can't even do zebra print .-.
BE HAPPY xD
And it does look like a snarl, a simple little mistake can make it look sad.
It's the eye that makes it look sad, otherwise it looks awesome!

well drawn, only one problem. That's not a snarl, that's a sad face

i'm not much of an artist myself but i can see how it would be hard to draw an angry snarl on a tribal wolf
