Holy wow, that took a while to compile. The first version freaking went all.... corrupted on me. .__. ^^; Yeah, I did this all tonight. When I should have been working on commissions, I know, I know. B-but look how productive it is!!! :eager:

I hope this helps you guys in any way at all. :heart: Sorry I couldn't describe things in words better. Looking at the progression helps more, in my opinion, hence so many scans. :O_o:

Feel free to re-draw this all you want for practice, and you can re-post as long as you credit me (and maybe link back here so others can learn, too!). :D

What colors do you use? and HOW DO YOU DO TO YOUR COLOR DOESENT PUT OVER THE LINEART?!?!

FAIL. I only answered half. :iconnightfacepalmplz: I usually don't color over the lineart, just around it and inside of it. A lot of the time I'll go over it again after the coloring is done, too. :meow:

It depends on what I'm drawing, really. I usually use a light shade, a medium shade of the same family, and a darker color and/or black for more shading. For this, I used 2 different greys and black, but I don't know the title of the colors because apparently they don't have names. :XD:
