At last! The long-awaited reveal of my first "themed" piece, Dark to Light! And by long-awaited, I totally mean you all chomping at the bit at the WIPs I posted yesterday. :XD: Those will be put into scraps eventually.

Yes. I worked for days on that damned wolf. Then I took black and smeared it all over. :O_o:

All in all, it's not that horrible. :shrug:

This was partially inspired by my good friend :iconwolflaf:, who has been going through some touch times in her life. :heart: This is for all of you you have ever fought to break free of the chains that darkness or depression had around your throat and looked toward the light. :heart:

This was loads of fun to work on, and holds a lot of the same meaning for me that my tattoo does, so enjoy it, respect it, and don't steal. :meow:

If you want to use any of my poses, just ask. That I do allow. :nod:


Edit: I edited this to fix a typo, 32 seconds after it was uploaded, and I had 4 faves. WTF???

I've struggled with depression for.... ever. I got a tattoo of a black feather with the kanji for "hope" to symbolize everything I've been through, everything I can do, and that I'll be free from it.
